IX · Silent Event Horizon

When the cosmos falls silent, even existence loses its echo.

Void black, dark-bound violet and faint muted purple form a nearly motionless event horizon where tracks bend and starlight disappears.

01The story

Beyond the reach of the stars lies a void with no visible bottom. There is no answer, no direction, and no question worth pursuing. Star bodies are pulled by gravity, light bends at the boundary, and every voice that approaches vanishes into the silent deep. That presence is IX, the Aeon of the Nihility. This theme reduces that presence to its quietest form: the broad darkness is not an empty background but a horizon with density, while the few violet, blue and magenta signals appear only just before they are consumed.

02Where the colours come from

The palette is drawn from the event horizon of a black hole, deep-violet nebulae and distant starlight bent by gravity. Void black absorbs the composition, dark-bound keeps cards and panels legible as separate layers, and gravitational grey traces the bending tracks. Muted violet is the primary signal the instruments can still resolve; eclipse blue enters the independent syntax palette for coordinates and functions; dark star-red is kept for rare anomalies and removed states. The black hole, gravitational lens, bent orbits and two almost extinguished points are original abstract SVG forms; no character artwork, logo, interface asset or official pattern is reproduced.

03How the palette was built

Black, violet-grey and blue-grey build a low-saturation hierarchy so Nihility does not become a generic neon cyberpunk theme. Muted violet stays bright enough for AA contrast on the ground; text on the accent uses void black #100F18 because the initial white-on-violet pairing reached only 4.04:1. Dark star-red is lifted slightly from #A45F91 to #B36A9F so small anomaly signals remain readable on both background and surface. Vim and Codex share a restrained but clearly separated syntax palette of violet, blue, muted magenta and pale grey-white.
